Welcome! Through this site you will be able to purchase a Massachusetts Fishing, Hunting, or Sporting License; renew your Motorboat, ATV, or Snowmobile Registration; or purchase a Recreational Lobster Permit. However, if you are a first time visitor, we urge you to familiarize yourself with MassOutdoors by clicking on one or more of the buttons above. Please note that there are restrictions in using some licenses right away. If you wish to renew or duplicate an existing Motorboat, ATV, or Snowmobile Registration or Recreational Lobster Permit, you should already be on our customer list. Please follow the instructions for an Existing Customer once you enter the site. There you will be asked to provide your customer ID or your last name, date-of-birth, and city/zip code. You can contact the MassOutdoors Help Desk (617-626-1600) open 4:00 - 8:00 pm, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, or email us at mass.outdoors@state.ma.us. |

| Message
from the Commissioner:
Welcome to the Massachusetts Department of Fish and Game's Licensing and Registration System, otherwise known as MassOutdoors. To better serve you, we have automated the licensing operations of the Divisions of Fisheries and Wildlife (MassWildlife), Marine Fisheries, and EOEA's Office of Environmental Law Enforcement. While here, you can purchase your Massachusetts hunting, fishing and sporting license, recreational lobster permit and renew your motorboat, ATV, and snowmobile registration. Furthermore, when your license information is in our system, you may also receive subsequent licenses, permits and registrations through the mail. You should be proud to know that your license fees support inland and marine fisheries research and management, wildlife restoration programs, land conservation efforts, and environmental law enforcement. We greatly appreciate your support of our agency and its programs. |
